Goal: Accelerate energy transition

With the TSE Industry Studies program, the government encourages companies to implement innovative projects in the field of sustainable energy and carbon reduction. The subsidy is intended to accelerate the energy transition and contribute to the Netherlands’ climate goals.

There are two tracks within the TSE Industry Studies:

  1. CO2 reduction in industry except hydrogen
  2. Hydrogen and green chemistry

For: feasibility studies and environmental studies

  1. Feasibility study  (pilot project)

This research precedes a pilot project. It is suitable for preparing for an experimental development that will be tested in a real-world environment. 

  1. Environmental study  (demonstration project or fully developed technology)

A study that examines the investments needed to achieve a better environmental baseline for your company. Various scenarios can be developed to inform your decision later. 

  1. Comparable study (demonstration project or fully developed technology)

In a similar study, you investigate an environmental investment in a demonstration project or in a project with a fully developed technology that is not covered by an environmental study.

Applications for TSE Industry Studies can be submitted to the Rijksdienst voor Ondernemend Nederland (RVO.nl). Enablemi monitors RVO.nl’s announcements for you and helps you submit a winning application and bring the project to a satisfactory conclusion.

Variable amount determined per project

Applications will be reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis. The program opened on May 1, 2024. Do you think your research meets the requirements? Contact one of our advisors soon! The longer you wait, the greater the risk that your project will no longer be eligible for funding.
