Objective: Promotion of applied scientific and technical research
The NWO Perspectief Grant is aimed at promoting new and challenging applied and technical-scientific research.
Projects must contribute to strengthening the technical-scientific foundation, efficient innovation chains and visible social impact.
For: Knowledge and Innovation Agendas and Key Enabling Technologies
The subsidy is intended for consortia consisting of at least three knowledge institutions.
Although these are not eligible for funding, a user group must also be involved to promote the applicability of the research. This could include companies, government agencies, NGOs, and other social partners.
Projects must contribute to one or more Knowledge and Innovation Agendas and key enabling technologies.

Eligible amount determined per project
The size of the NWO Perspectief Grant funding largely depends on the number of research positions created.
The subsidy therefore only goes to the research institutions, but the efforts and contributions of users count as co-financing.
