Purpose: Regional growth and development
The main goal of the MRE subsidy is to promote economic growth and development in the Metropolitan Region Eindhoven. The subsidy is focused on stimulating innovation, improving infrastructure, and strengthening the regional economy. This can be achieved by carrying out, for example, a feasibility study, elaborating a business case, setting up a pilot, or developing a prototype.
The core is that there must be collaboration, innovation takes place and the regional economy in Southeast Brabant is strengthened.

The MRE subsidy supports a wide array of projects that contribute to the economic growth and development of the region. These include projects in the sectors of infrastructure, education, innovation, and economic development.
There is a distinction between “kick-start projects” (studies, explorations, preparations and pilots) and “implementation projects” (development of a prototype).
Projects must consist of at least two partners within the Eindhoven region.
