Goal: Sustainable innovation and knowledge sharing in Frisian agriculture

The EIP 2025 Friesland subsidy was established to accelerate innovation in Friesland’s agricultural sector. Through this program, the province, together with the European Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), encourages projects that contribute to future-proof, competitive, and sustainable agriculture. The emphasis is on close collaboration between farmers, knowledge institutions, technology companies, and other partners to develop and share innovative solutions.

The EIP 2025 Friesland grant focuses on themes such as more valued supply chains, efficient use of natural resources, a healthy living environment, and food products that meet societal and market expectations. By investing in innovation and knowledge exchange, we create an agricultural sector that continues to develop and stay ahead of the curve.

This scheme contributes to national and European goals: a more resilient market, healthy soil, efficient water management, biodiversity, animal welfare, and future-proof food production. This creates an agriculture that is ready for the challenges and opportunities of tomorrow.

For: agriculture, technology, chain cooperation and sustainability

The EIP 2025 Friesland subsidy is intended for partnerships of at least two parties, including at least one farmer. Collaborations can include knowledge institutions, technology companies, supply chain partners, or nature organizations.

Projects must focus on innovation in Frisian agriculture and contribute to a sustainable, healthy, and future-proof sector. Innovations may span a broad spectrum: from circular value chains and digital solutions to improving food safety or strengthening the farmer’s position within the supply chain. The project must demonstrably address current social and ecological transitions in Friesland.

The number of applications per partnership is unlimited, as long as the projects are diverse in nature and comply with the scheme. Enablemi is familiar with the application process and supports the successful preparation, submission, and implementation of your project. This way, we work together to maximize the impact within the Frisian agricultural sector.

Goal: Sustainable innovation and knowledge sharing in Groningen agriculture

The EIP 2025 Groningen grant stimulates sustainable development and innovation within Groningen’s agricultural sector. The Province of Groningen collaborates with the European Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) to accelerate projects that contribute to a resilient, competitive, and future-oriented agriculture. Collaboration is central to this program: farmers, knowledge institutions, technology partners, and supply chain organizations combine expertise and develop innovative solutions that can be applied directly.

The focus is on themes such as strengthening market position, developing sustainable revenue models, conserving and restoring nature and biodiversity, and the responsible management of natural resources such as water, soil, and air. Projects aimed at reducing emissions, improving climate resilience, and ensuring food production that meets societal needs are also among the spearheads.

With this subsidy program, Groningen contributes to national and European objectives related to healthy soils, water management, biodiversity, animal welfare, and future-proof food chains. Innovation and knowledge exchange form the foundation for an agricultural sector that not only adapts to change but also anticipates the challenges and opportunities of the future.
