DUMAVA enables organisations that own social real estate to invest in more sustainable and future-proof buildings. Organisations such as schools, healthcare institutions, sports clubs, cultural institutions and municipalities can receive funding through this scheme for sustainability measures or integrated renovations. Depending on the type of project, the grant may cover up to 40% of the eligible costs.
In addition to reducing energy costs, making a building more sustainable also contributes to greater comfort, a better indoor climate and more efficient use of the building in the long term.
Types DUMAVA-projects
The DUMAVA grant covers two types of projects. Organisations can apply for funding for individual sustainability measures or for an integrated sustainability project.
Individual measures may consist of one, two or three energy-saving measures, such as insulation, LED lighting or a heat pump. An integrated project involves a large-scale improvement of the building based on tailored advice, combining multiple measures effectively to achieve maximum energy savings.
Which organisations is DUMAVA intended for?
The DUMAVA grant is intended for organisations that own social real estate and want to invest in making their buildings more sustainable. This includes schools, healthcare institutions, sports clubs, cultural institutions, municipalities and other buildings with a public function.
To be eligible, the property must be located in the Netherlands and owned by the organisation submitting the application.
Grant percentages and opportunities
Depending on the type of project, the DUMAVA grant may cover up to 40% of the eligible costs, with a maximum grant amount of €1,500,000 per application. Integrated sustainability projects in particular may qualify for higher grant percentages.
