Objective: To encourage the use of digital or hybrid processes in healthcare or support
The STOZ aims to stimulate initiatives for the application of digital or hybrid processes in healthcare and support services. This should ensure that more people can be helped with fewer or the same number of staff, that the quality of life improves for people with (a high risk of) chronic illness or disability, or that staff members can provide better services with less workload and greater satisfaction.
For: Digital and hybrid solutions in support and care
This scheme offers support to healthcare providers in implementing digital and hybrid care processes. Three routes are possible: 1) strategy development, 2) scaling up, and 3) evaluation.
The second and third routes are intended for actually implementing technology.
STOZ is provided by the RVO
If you have submitted an application for the STOZ, it will be assessed by the RVO.
The STOZ application is on a first-come, first-served basis, meaning that speed of submission is an important factor in obtaining the subsidy.
Depending on costs and expenses
For strategy development, the subsidy is capped at €25,000 at 100%. This means no co-financing is required from the applicant.
For the scale-up and evaluation route, the maximum subsidy is €750,000 at 50%, so 50% co-financing is required. A subsidy of €100,000 therefore means project costs of €200,000.
