Goal: Develop a sustainable HR policy that enables Researchable to grow from 15 to 50 employees while remaining an attractive employer in a competitive IT job market.
Researchable not only achieves organic growth, but also becomes an attractive employer that draws and retains talent.
The project focuses on developing a sustainable and structured HR policy that enables Researchable to grow from 15 to 50 employees in a competitive IT labor market. By investing in a professional HR strategy, Researchable aims to improve talent attraction and retention in a sector characterized by frequent job-switching.
The insights and approach of this project make the organization future-proof and strengthen its position in the IT sector, where the demand for qualified professionals continues to grow. Thoughtful HR policy enables not only organic growth but also ensures Researchable becomes an attractive employer that draws and keeps talent. This not only empowers the internal organization, but also provides a solid foundation for the company’s ambitious growth targets. At the same time, the project contributes to the regional labor market by creating high-quality IT jobs and retaining talent in the region—essential for sustainable economic development.
With the awarded JTF grant, Researchable can invest in an HR system that stimulates the growth and development of both current and future colleagues. This enables the organization to achieve its ambitious growth objectives while simultaneously strengthening the regional labor market by creating high-quality IT jobs and retaining talent within the region.
Enablemi’s role
Enablemi conducted a comprehensive grant scan and managed the entire application process. The team carefully verified that the proposed training programs met all criteria of the relevant grant scheme, ensuring that the project qualified for successful financing and implementation.
After the award of the grant, Researchable received official congratulations from the Just Transition Fund and SNN. The alderman of Groningen and the chair of the regional labor market came in person with flowers and cake to celebrate the success. This project was recognized as a model example within the JTF, demonstrating how collaboration between businesses, education, and government can lead to impactful results.

Just Transition Fund (JTF)
Researchable was awarded funding via the Just Transition Fund (JTF). This European funding scheme helps regions tackle major challenges in the energy transition, with the aim of ensuring a fair and future-proof shift to a climate-neutral economy. The JTF specifically supports projects that accelerate innovation, enable investment in sustainable technologies and infrastructure, and strengthen the regional labor market by supporting training and creating new jobs.
In Northern Netherlands, including Groningen, SNN implements the JTF, coordinating with provinces and municipalities to tailor the fund to specific regional priorities. Projects like Researchable’s align perfectly with the fund’s objectives: developing sustainable HR policies and investing in the growth and development of staff in sectors where talent is scarce.
This initiative contributes to the RIS3 transition from analog to digital. Researchable supports this shift by providing organizations with data-driven software solutions, such as scalable web applications and data platforms. The company improves data infrastructure and assists researchers in software development, helping advance digitalization and operational efficiency.
